Chapter 11 - The Homecoming

Six months after the tragedy on the marble steps, the sun shone brightly over the rolling green hills of Lower Merion.

A large, sunlit stone farmhouse—purchased entirely by Khloe using her restored personal funds—stood surrounded by blooming white hydrangeas and towering oak trees.

A long ribbon was cut at the front porch as Khloe, looking healthy, radiant, and strong in a simple cream dress, stepped into her new home holding six-month-old Maya in her arms.

Maya was thriving, her cheeks chubby, her dark eyes bright and curious as she looked around at the sunny garden.

Harrison carried the last box of nursery books up the porch steps, setting them down by the door.

"It's beautiful, Khloe," Harrison said, looking out over the peaceful garden. "No marble steps. No gold-leaf ceilings. Just a real home."

"It's our home," Khloe smiled, leaning her head against her brother's shoulder as Maya let out a happy, gurgling coo. "I couldn't have survived this without you, Harry. I was so broken that day."

"You were never broken, Khloe," Harrison said gently, turning to look at his sister. "You were just surrounded by people who didn't know your worth. You saved Maya. You stood up to Richard. I just provided the legal weight."

"And what about you?" Khloe asked softly, looking at her brother's tired eyes. "When are you going to stop fighting for everyone else and start living your own life?"

Harrison smiled—a genuine, warm smile that made his gray eyes shine. "My life is right here, protecting my family."
