Chapter 10 - The New Foundation

The morning sun rose higher into the clear blue sky, bathing the luxury garden in a brilliant, golden light. The wind seemed to soften, carrying away the harsh chill of the early morning.
Tommy stared at Alexander for a long, silent moment. The weight of his immense grief, his weeks of cold hunger, and the terrifying burden of trying to be the man of his broken family suddenly dissolved under the gentle, protective gaze of the uncle he had never known existed.
A soft, choked sob escaped from Tommy’s chest. The cracked plastic bucket slipped from his small fingers, tumbling onto the marble path as the handfuls of black soil spilled harmlessly across the stone.
Tommy threw his small arms around Alexander’s neck, burying his dirt-smudged face directly into the billionaire’s crisp white dress shirt. He wept openly, his small frame shaking against Alexander’s chest as months of suppressed fear and heartbreak finally poured out of him.
Alexander didn't hesitate. He wrapped his broad arms tightly around his nephew, holding the boy close against his heart, lifting him effortlessly off the cold ground. He let Tommy’s tears and dirty face stain his shirt, completely unconcerned with anything other than offering the child complete safety and love.
Behind them, inside the office, Maria stood by the glass doors, wiping tears from her own eyes as she finalized the calls to the legal team and the city authorities. The Morgan empire was about to undergo a massive, seismic shift—not in wealth, but in purpose.

Alexander stood tall on the sixty-floor terrace, holding his brother’s son securely in his arms. He looked out over the vast city skyline, no longer as a cold, detached titan looking down on the world, but as a man who had finally found his true purpose in protecting his family's lost bloodline.
The cracked bucket remained on the ground, but the dirt inside it was no longer a symbol of desperate poverty. It was the foundation upon which a new, unbroken future would be built.
