Camden discovered the theft too late to stop Finnley’s prosecution.
Reagan managed his medication and appointments after his cancer diagnosis. She filtered his calls and claimed lawyers advised him not to interfere with the criminal case.
When Camden demanded to see the company records, Reagan increased the sedatives prescribed through a private physician connected to Carter’s gambling circle.
The medication left Camden confused.
During lucid periods, he began making copies.

He also found a draft death certificate prepared before he was medically close to dying.

They came from an unclaimed cremation arranged through a compromised funeral employee.
Camden escaped the facility with help from a nurse named Denise Cole, who realized his paperwork did not match his identity.
But he did not go home.
He believed Reagan would return him to the facility or have him declared mentally incompetent.
Instead, Denise helped him enter a protective medical program while federal investigators reviewed the financial evidence.
Camden recorded everything in Unit 108 before disappearing again.
