Chapter 6 - THE GROWL OF REVELATION

Lorenzo pushed through the grand mahogany doors, carrying Sophia in his left arm, his heavy black boots stepping onto the thick oriental rug that covered the center of the grand entryway.
The main clubhouse room was a massive, high-ceilinged sanctuary of dark wood, leather sofas, polished brass fixtures, and historical club memorabilia hanging from the stone walls. Sitting around the central glass coffee table were the four senior club members—hardened, middle-aged men who had spent their entire lives in the biker underworld. They were tense, whispering among themselves, waiting anxiously for Lorenzo to return after his sudden, furious departure from the board room thirty minutes ago.
Standing in the corner near the security office, weeping quietly into her apron, was Sophia’s mother. Two lower-prospect club members stood near her, holding her simple work bag and keeping her isolated near the wall.
The moment the grand doors swung open, all four senior club members turned their heads toward the entrance.
Their eyes widened in absolute shock.
They had expected Lorenzo to storm back into the room with his fists bare, demands roaring from his mouth about his missing gold watch. Instead, they saw their feared President standing in the golden daylight of the foyer, holding a four-year-old girl in a cream-pink dress securely against his leather vest, his dark eyes scanning their faces with terrifying calm.
Behind Lorenzo, Pino stepped into the room.
Suddenly, the large Doberman stopped dead in his tracks.
Pino’s entire muscular body went rigid as a steel spring. The hairs along his dark spine stood straight up. His dark lips curled back over his gleaming white fangs, and a low, guttural, terrifying growl began to rumble deep within his chest—a sound so primal and menacing that it vibrated the glass on the coffee table.
Pino didn't look at Sophia’s mother. He didn't look at the two prospects near the door.
The Doberman’s burning, intelligent eyes locked with singular, lethal precision onto one specific man among the four senior officers sitting at the glass table—a tall, heavily built sergeant-at-arms named Marcus, who had been the most vocal advocate for searching the housekeeper's locker earlier that morning.
Lorenzo slowly followed Pino’s locked gaze, his gray eyes fixing onto Marcus's face.
Marcus’s confident, arrogant expression vanished in a single microsecond. Sweat broke out across his forehead, and his cheeks turned pale as chalk under the dog's menacing glare and Lorenzo’s heavy, silent stare.

Sophia tightened her small arms around Lorenzo’s neck, hiding her face against his collarbone as the tension in the room skyrocketed to a lethal high.
Lorenzo said nothing. He simply held the child close, realizing that Pino had just pointed the finger at the true thief.
